El Peak es una unidad realmente genial para tener a mano. Especialmente para entornos grupales o travesuras en el campamento, el Peak es tanto fácil de usar como elegante al mismo tiempo. Not a gold peice
The inner connection brakes loose and stops heating. Very poor design. Also the atomizer has to be srewed in perfectly. Not to tight not to loose or won't work and that's 95% of the time. Set there trying to find the right spot and never do. Would not recommend
Puffco Peak - Worthless & Overpriced - Buy a cheap pen instead
WE purchased the Puffco Peak over a year ago. While within the warranty, we were told that the atomizer wasn't covered. We were having constant problems with the "rainbow", and the original atomizer sent had a wonky spring that just broke off when we tried to clean it. So then, we ordered two replacement atomizers that are supposed to screw in, but now, we are getting 3 flashing red and the thing won't work at all. Tried everything. So if you want to buy it go ahead. Plan on it working 6 months and then throw it in the trash.
Bad engineering and cheaply designed atomizer makes this a poor choice
I have owned my Puffco Peak for exactly 7 weeks and have already had to purchase two replacement atomizer's, at +$65 each after tax that makes this the most expensive wax vaporizer to run on the planet. After the atomizer packaged with my Peak failed after just 3 weeks I was concerned and talked to support and was convinced that normally they last much longer. So I soaked that atomizer in 99% iso every 4 days and kept the bowl very clean. Wouldn't you know that replacement lasted 4 weeks before it cracked and I got rainbow lights again. Now I've just purchased my third and last atomizer and plan to use this device occasionally to make it last longer. Buyer beware if your using this as a daily device your going to burn through atomizers due to the poor engineering and low quality parts.
Great product
Very impressive device. Admittedly I haven't used any other e-rigs, but the quality of construction wowed me when I opened the case, it really seemed like a premium product that was worth the money before I even used it. I was excited to try it but obviously had to wait for an initial charge. In that time I used some concentrate in my old rig, actually loaded it twice, and went about my business. A couple of hours later I loaded up the Peak and used it hitting the sesh mode twice. I used half of what I did in my earlier session with my quartz banger and I was ready for bed. Had enough thought to turn it off, give it a quick swab, and remove the water chamber. Honestly, after that session, I realized how wasteful my previous rig was. So while I felt I was splurging with this purchase, I think in the long run I will actually save money.
Poor Reliability
I've had two units now - the first had a connection issue shortly out of the box. Puffco replaced the unit, and the second broke after a few months of use. Both units were well cared for and maintained. I'm not impressed with the product at all and would recommend my friends steer clear of it. Spend your money elsewhere.
