Replace when discoloured
After a few clean outs residue gradually builds that becomes unpleasant. They can pick up chemicals if they are incontact with something that will melt. So you do have to replace them. Also they will bend a bit or stick and become out of serviceable. So your armada will shrink. When hot they can make little round marks on wood surfaces, burn your plastic containers and fingers. Don't leave them lying out in the open if you are not in the open.
It's reusable capsules and help to keep vaporizer clean.
